About
I’ve spent 30+ years as a hands-on Design Director — designing, art directing, and building brand systems that deliver measurable results. Not decks about work. Real work.
As the sole creative lead at Digital Law Marketing since 2014, I’ve designed every website, brand identity, and campaign for law firms nationwide. Clients report doubled phone calls after redesign, with sites delivered in as few as 21 days.
Previously one of the original designers in a 3-person custom website department at LexisNexis that grew to 100 — powered by a client delivery model I proposed that leadership adopted company-wide. 100% custom designs, no templates.
I’m also an NFL-licensed fine artist — my paintings were exhibited at Super Bowl 50 for NFL Honors through a partnership with the Deacon Jones Foundation. That foundation in composition, color theory, and storytelling is the reason my digital work has an eye that templates can’t replicate.

Testimonials
Edgar is an accomplished, talented artist. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate and work with him on mutual law firm clients, and have heard him “get” the client’s vision from the very first consultation. Edgar consistently goes above and beyond for our clients — whether it’s accommodating a specific need or just bringing fresh ideas to the table, he delivers.
Edgar is a stellar web designer who incorporates his expertise in painting and color theory in every design he creates. His designs are consistently critiqued by clients as “better than expected” and “exactly what we were looking for, only better.” Edgar often gets designs approved on the first shot. With Edgar, there is no “good enough”; there is only “excellent or better than excellent.”
Edgar is an outstanding creative director, visual designer, and artist. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Edgar at two businesses that I have led. He quickly rose to the task, redesigning web properties that needed a more modern look. He also created identity standards for brands where none existed before. He is able to work equally well with very specific direction or a blank canvas.
He might be the best designer I have ever worked with. His dedication and love for his family shines like a beacon and inspires others, myself included. In the office he is a role-model, teacher, and caring friend. Our clients love him. He is our designated hitter when we need a big play and NEVER fails.
Edgar is not only a creative and amazing artist, he also has the ability to apply his skills toward the specific goals of projects. He can take complex guidance, conceptual direction, and the desired emotive “feeling” of an individual piece, campaign, or entire brand identity and create amazing compelling and powerful visuals.
Besides being an exceptionally talented, creative artist and designer, Edgar knows how to satisfy his clients. Edgar is the member of the design team that we rely on for the most difficult customers and he is successful in pleasing all of them — which is no small feat considering our customers in the legal market can be very demanding.
Edgar is a gifted and creative web designer and artist. He has contributed greatly to the success of Martindale-Hubbell’s custom web design services for law firms. His sites have creative layouts, easy navigation, and relevant content that reflects the unique services and capabilities of his law firm customers.
When it comes to website design, Edgar is one of the best out there. He has an excellent eye for quality and has the ability to make legal websites true to his vision. In the projects we have worked on together, he has exceeded the client’s expectations with his work ethic and professionalism.

Little Creek Lodge is a residential recovery program for adult males battling substance abuse. I redesigned websites for three affiliated properties under one responsive framework, featuring modern design that showcased their log cabin architecture with video integration for patient and family communication. Every website was built to meet LegitScript Certification Standards — the compliance requirement for addiction treatment centers advertising through Google — ensuring full transparency with accurate facility photos, detailed service descriptions, and physical address disclosure. The family-first approach included addiction education resources, medical insurance search tools, and family guidelines, along with print brochures, advertising slicks, and trade show banners to support outreach across the Northeast.
Developed a family-first strategy centered on bringing loved ones together through education on drug and alcohol addiction and the recovery process. Built a new branded mobile-responsive website featuring medical insurance search tools and family guidelines, supported by a Search Engine Marketing campaign targeting Pennsylvania rehabilitation services to drive awareness and admissions.
Designed a mobile-responsive website showcasing the log cabin architecture across all three properties, with strict adherence to Google's advertising and SEO guidelines for alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities. Extended the brand across print brochures, advertising slicks, and trade show banners to support their outreach efforts.
Built on a responsive WordPress framework with video integration capabilities, enabling patients and families to maintain communication during recovery. All website content was developed to meet LegitScript Certification Standards (Standard 9 — Website Content Disclosure), which required displaying the physical address of each facility, detailed descriptions of services offered including detox, counseling, and MAT, and authentic photos and videos that accurately represent the locations — no stock images or misleading depictions. This compliance was essential for Google Ads approval and ensured transparency and legitimacy across all three properties.
The redesigned website delivered a 67% increase in traffic. Google Local performance over 90 days showed 5,700 views, 306 actions taken, 250 requests for directions, and 70 phone calls — proving the SEM campaign and modern design were driving real-world results for all three properties.
